One person is dead and a suspect is in custody after a shootout with police in Inwood / Dyckman area.A section of Manhattan where drugs can be brought in plain sight.A Place where it seems as if there are no POLICE as the neighbors say they havent seen patrol cars since Covid ended and the 34th Precinct had reported back in August that they only had 4 Patrol cars to cover the entire area.This makes for a uge amount of lawlessness and crimes going unsolved as well as unreported.
This latestincident is but one of many.This only gained attention as someone was actually killed and Police had to bring in special units as the man had baracaded himself in the building.
