The N.Y.P.D. has reported that police officers have been quitting and retiring in record numbers. As summer rears its head on the city and shootings are at an all time high.Children and elderly being shot and robbed .
Mayor Adams of New York City has promised change but yet has been done since the transition of the administration.This is definitely a terrible time to be a New Yorker .As a native of the city that never sleeps and one who has saw much.I myself have to admit that .I have never aw the city this bad.
These are the areas which What Goes ? blog has researched and would like to focus on as a forecast of what we predict to be on the horizon for New York City crime this summer 2022.In - No particular order
Assault -Fighting ,Harassment ,Mental
Murder - Ignorance ,Gangs ,Retaliations
Shootings - Random ,planned ,in concert of crimes,
Robbery - Criminals wearing covid masks,the elderly , stores ,delivery men , taxi drivers -( evening / early am drivers).In-Home burglaries ,Home Invasions ,Car break ins theft,Catalytic converter thefts.Motorcycle thefts.Package theft pick pocketing at out door events.
Rape - Due to many perverted and mentally ill people throughout the city and subway system.Sexual assault at events.Evenings and parks especially dangerous.Women who work late shifts and have to travel late to and from work.Sexual assault ,Harassments ,groping.
Kidnapping - With the internet and dating applications also many hook-up sites Many of our youth are out and about and unaware of their surroundings therefore they will be taken advantage of and possibly kidnapped or worse.children who are alone,Minors who were influenced by the wrong or bad crowd meaning having bad intent.
New Drug Dens - Areas like delis and corners again have dealers as cameras do not matter and drug sales like marijuana will not be brought to court.
